Hi. I recently purchased a Stromberg e-FIRE 2-bolt 12 Volt Distributor for my 1940 Ford Coupe Hot Rod. It has a 286″ Blown Flathead. I have to tell you this is the 3rd Distributor I bought and it is the best ! The Car has never run so well. Doesn’t even crank to start. Just push the starter button an it goes Vrroom. It has never run at the correct temperature before, 195 to 220 deg. Now with the e-FIRE, it runs consistently at 160 or in heavy traffic 170. And I live in Florida. What I like best is that it comes pre-timed with the ability to adjust it a little with the side adjustment provided. It is the only distributor on the market like this. It has made my life a lot easier. If you need me for a recomendation, just let me know.
