NEW for 2024…The perfect ignition coil for your e-FIRE electronic ignition (12v or 6v, negative or positive ground). And 6v points ignitions too. We've called it the 44 - it's got a kick… The new 44 coil is oil-filled for better cooling and improved voltage insulation - perfect for street driven vehicles. (Though please remember to mount it with terminals upwards.) It’s also the perfect companion for our new 9709K Old School Coil Bracket (available separately).

Always check you have the correct coil for your application. With e-FIRE electronic distributors, remove or bypass any external ballast resistor or resister wire on installation. The 44 coil is not suitable for capacitive discharge or distributor-less ignition systems. For most applications, we recommend the engine manufacturer’s stock spark plug gaps.
