You’ll find these on Stromberg 97, 81 and BIG97 models, hiding behind the choke lever. When the choke is in the off position, the rounded end locates in a small hole in the choke lever to provide a positive stop. They didn’t appear on earlier Stromberg 40 and 48 models. Comes with a new spring – all stainless steel.
Rebuilder Tip: Swap this out for our Choke Lock Detent version (9537K-L) if you want to lock your Stromberg choke plate open.
