6×2 Progressive Linkage Back-Bar.
For Edelbrock X1.

Stromberg 6×2 progressive linkages are modular, allowing you to select the 3×2 progressive linkage and back-bar kits separately to suit your individual intake manifold dimensions. This back-bar is supplied ‘ready-to-fit’ the Edelbrock X1 ram 6×2 intake and others with dimensions as given above. If in doubt, always measure your manifold spacing. NOTE: Our pictures show a fully assembled 6×2 linkage. This kit is the back-bar only. Add two Stromberg 9251PRO 3×2 progressive kits to complete Edelbrock X1 ram 6×2 linkage. Stromberg back-bar kits comprise unique low-line brackets - one long and one short- with rolled ends and Oilite self-lubricating bushes. Supported at four points for zero flex, the stainless steel back-bar shaft comes with two end stops to prevent lateral movement. The linkage comes pre-assembled with full instructions on trimming, installation and tuning. Click the other tabs to preview.  

Connects to your throttle pedal linkage via one of the two long back-bar levers, or add a further one (Stromberg kit 9096K) anywhere along the back-bar shaft to align with your ‘pull’ point. Stromberg recommends a mechanical pedal link for all multi-carb systems.

Designed for maximum versatility in operation, our 6×2 kits can be configured in a number of different ways. The long back-bar levers have three top mounting points for flexible throttle response and leverage. NOTE: This kit will not fit Holley or Edelbrock 94 carburetors as the idle mix screws are on the back where the brackets fit on the 97.
