Another linkage problem solver for Stromberg choke and throttle cables. Our Rocket Clip fits the Stromberg 97 choke lever ball with its weird (0.275in) size - most clips are only 1/4in - so you can quickly convert it to cable operation. Just slide your choke cable or push/pull wire into the end. Fix it reliably with the the knurled set screw (on the back). And clamp the cable outer sleeve with a Stromberg 9552K-B choke bracket.
If you’re planning on cable throttle operation, our Rocket Clip is a great choice. Simply mount one of our 9168K Linkage Balls in place of the small set screw in the end of the swivel on the lever you’re pulling. (Both use the same 10-32 thread.) Or fix it with the supplied lock nut through one of the three holes at the top of our long progressive linkage levers (9096K). Secure the cable end into the Rocket Clip and the cable sleeve onto our 9136K throttle cable bracket.
