Our return and exchange policy applies to goods purchased directly from Stromberg. If you make a purchase from a Stromberg dealer, or other third party, please consult them directly. To complete any return, we will require a receipt or proof of purchase. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Please inspect orders immediately upon arrival to ensure that you have received the parts ordered and that they are free from shipping damage. If damaged, keep all merchandise and damaged packaging as evidence and file a claim with the carrier. Do not send freight-damaged merchandise back to Stromberg or our warehouse.
If you believe a product is defective or damaged, ordered in error, or mis-shipped, please contact us immediately and we will advise on how to proceed with the return. Our return & exchange policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t promise to offer you a full refund or exchange, but contact us anyway and we will try to help wherever possible.
We will typically issue an RGA (Return Goods Authorisation) number and an address (UK or USA) for merchandise return. The return shipping address will be advised. Please do NOT ship your return parcel from USA back to the UK. If you are returning anything to our UK address, from outside the UK, you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating that the package contains ‘returned goods’. If your parcel is stopped in UK customs and a charge levied, we may refuse payment and the package may be returned to you.
All returns must include the receipt or proof of purchase, a name and return address and display the valid RGA number on the outside of the package. They must be returned within thirty (30) days from issue of the RGA number, and freight must be pre-paid. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us so, for your own protection, we recommend that you send it tracked with insurance for the full value of the goods. We cannot refund items lost in the post. We will confirm receipt of the goods, by email.
If the return is due to our error, we will credit the return shipping costs to your account. When goods are returned we will exchange, credit, or refund the original invoice amount of the merchandise.
We ask you to take reasonable care of the goods you purchased while they are in your possession. Items should be returned in their original packaging. Returned goods must not be used, disfigured, or modified in any way. This means that you may inspect the goods, but tags should not be removed from any item and the original packaging should be retained.
Please allow 10-14 working days from receipt of a return for us to process a refund. Once a refund is processed you will receive a confirmation email (sent to the same email address as your order confirmation). After receiving the return confirmation email, please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to clear into your account. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer.
Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, (eg. the card has expired) we will contact you to discuss alternatives. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
